This is a figure that I've been waiting to do for a long time!  I love the classic look and feel of this guy.  I had Soundwave when I was a kid and this guy brings back so many good childhood memories.  The chest piece was a bear to take apart thanks to the 4 internal corner pins that hold the body together.  After the pins were finally removed, everything else was a snap to take apart.  I originally was going to leave this guy straight chrome but a good friend of mine convinced me to spray the translucent blue to bring out the real Soundwave!  I sure am glad that I went forward with his idea.
