ME GRIMLOCK!  This Animated Grimlock was one of my first originals that I've created.  The design was inspired by the images of the yet to be released Animated figures.  I took the original Animated Grimlock figure, disassembled him apart and vacuum metalized his parts.  Once chromed, translucent Alclad yellow and smoke paints were sprayed with an airbrush to achieve the gold and black chrome colors.  The figure was then protected with a high gloss clear coat to achieve the nice mirror chrome.  This figure was auctioned off April 09 to a lucky collector in Germany.
