This is my G1 inspired version of the Revenge of the Fallen Leader Optimus Prime .  I took a different approach in customizing this figure.  Instead of completely chroming it, I decided to do a little dry-brushing and painting with metallic paints.  The stacks, tanks, wheels, and everything else that was originally supposed to be chrome was, of course, chromed!  The silver and gold that I used were actually brighter before I sprayed the matte clear coat.  After the clear coat dried, the colors for some reason became darker.  None the less, I'm satisfied with my work.  I'll probably make another one and use a different silver down the road...
