This figure started out as an ordinary Transformers Animated Voyager Starscream.  At the time I decided to do this custom, the actual Target exclusive Animated Sunstorm toy images were just beginning to surface from China.  As  usual, I completely took apart this figure and vacuum metalized the parts to a chrome finish.  Before reassembling the figure back together I painted the individual pieces with translucent acrylic paints by Alclad and Tamiya.  The translucent orange parts on the figure were left as is.
